Sanganesan - Sanganesan

This mountain is located in the Hazu Mountains in the central-southern part of Aichi Prefecture. It lies on the border between the cities of Gamagori and Nishio and the town of Kota, with an elevation of 326 meters. It is made of Ryoke metamorphic rock and is part of the Mikawa Bay Quasi-National Park, offering a magnificent view overlooking Mikawa Bay. The Mikane Skyline runs to the summit, where there is a hotel and the Mikaneyama Kannon temple. The eastern side of the mountain, facing Gamagori, forms a steep fault cliff. Katahara Onsen is located on the eastern slope.

愛知県中南部、幡豆山地(はずさんち)にある山。蒲郡(がまごおり)・西尾(にしお)両市と幸田(こうた)町の境、標高326メートル。領家(りょうけ)変成岩からなり、三河湾国定公園の一部で、三河湾を見下ろす眺めは絶佳。山頂には三ヶ根スカイラインが通じ、ホテル、三ヶ根山観音などがある。東部の蒲郡側は急峻(きゅうしゅん)な断層崖(がい)をなしている。東斜面に形原(かたはら)温泉がある。
