Moiré - Moare (English spelling) moiré French

Moiré - Moare (English spelling) moiré French

When two coarsely woven fabrics are overlapped and viewed through the fabric, a wavy pattern (wood grain pattern) can be seen depending on how they are overlapped. This is caused by the interference of light due to the density of the threads in the two fabrics, and is often seen on curtains. There are two ways to create this moire pattern in textile processing: (1) by overlapping two pieces of horizontally ribbed fabric and passing them between hot compression rollers to create a shape, and (2) by pressing them with hot compression rollers engraved with wood grain.

printing

When regularly distributed dots or lines, such as parallel thin lines, are overlapped, various patterns can be created depending on the angle at which they are overlapped. When printing with multi-color halftone screens, if the screen angle of each screen is incorrect, moiré will occur and the image will look unnatural.
