Rondo form - Rondo form (English)

A musical term. It is a form of instrumental music established in the late 18th century, and is often used in the final movement of sonatas, symphonies, concertos, chamber music, and other instrumental pieces that have a so-called sonata multi-movement structure. The established formal norm is a central idea, a rondo theme that recurs many times (which should always appear in the tonic key), and several episodes inserted between the repetitions. The episodes generally move away from the tonic key, but eventually a formula is formed under the influence of the tonal structure of the sonata form. The most easily understood form is diagrammatically A (tonic key) - B (dominant key) - A (tonic key) - C (parallel key, subdominant key, etc.) - A (tonic key) - B' (tonic key) - A (tonic key). However, it is a misunderstanding to think of this as the basic form of rondo form, and in addition to those that show such a simple and clear form, there are extremely diverse examples that should be included in the category of this form, and many of them cannot be neatly organized.

もっともわかりやすい形を図式的に示すと、A(主調)―B(属調)―A(主調)―C(平行調、下属調など)―A(主調)―B′(主調)―A(主調)ということになる。
