Rosemary Oil - Rosemary

Also known as rosemarine oil. It is obtained by steam distillation of the flowers and leaves of Rosmarinus officinalis , a rosemary of the mint family found in southern Europe. It is a colorless or yellow-green perfume oil. Its components include camphor, cineole, borneol, pinene, and camphene. 0.895-0.911. 1.470-1.472. It is used as a fragrance for soap and cosmetics.

ロスマリン油ともいう．南ヨーロッパに産するシソ科マンネンロウRosmarinus officinalisの花および枝葉を水蒸気蒸留すると得られる．無色または黄緑色の香油．成分はショウノウ，シネオール，ボルネオール，ピネン，カンフェンなどである．0.895～0.911．1.470～1.472．せっけんの香料，化粧品の香料などに用いられる．
