Common

Boston is located at the northern end of the megalopolis, which has New York as its core and Washington DC in the south, and is connected to major cities by Amtrak and air transport. In the old town area, narrow, winding roads and the commons, which were once used for grazing, remain as parks, and historical sites from the colonial and revolutionary periods are scattered around. In Beacon Hill in the center of the city, adjacent to the state capitol built in 1795, a residential area for wealthy citizens from the 19th century has been preserved.
