Minjiang River - Binko

A river in central Sichuan, China. It has a total length of 793 km and a drainage area of ​​135,500 square km. It flows south from the southwest foot of the Minshan Mountains in northern Sichuan, and leaves the mountains in Guan County to enter the Chengdu Plain. Here it branches out into many rivers, but merges again near Pengshan and flows south, joins the Dadu River in Leshan, flows southeast, and flows into the Yangtze River at Yibin. Since the "Yu Gong" in the Book of Documents, it was mistakenly considered to be the source of the Yangtze River until the Qing Dynasty. The branches in the Chengdu Plain have also been part of an irrigation network since the Qin Dynasty.

中国、四川(しせん)省中部の川。全長793キロメートル、流域面積13万5500平方キロメートル。四川省北部の岷山山脈南西麓(ろく)から南流し、灌(かん)県で山地から成都(せいと)平原に出る。ここで多数の分流となるが、彭山(ほうざん)付近でふたたび合流して南流、楽山で大渡河(だいとが)をあわせたのち南東流して宜賓(ぎひん)で揚子江(ようすこう)に流入する。『書経』の「禹貢(うこう)」以来清(しん)代まで揚子江の源流と誤認されていた。なお、成都平原の分流は秦(しん)代からの灌漑(かんがい)水路網でもある。
