Peace of Roskilde

Treaty of peace between Sweden and Denmark on February 26, 1658. King Frederick III of Denmark declared war on Sweden in an attempt to gain control of Swedish Germany, but was defeated by Swedish King Charles X's operation to cross the ice from the Jutland Peninsula to Zealand, and this treaty was concluded. Under this treaty, the region of Scania in southern Sweden, the island of Bornholm, and the Norwegian cities of Trondheim and Bohuslän were ceded from Denmark to Sweden. Trondheim was later returned to Denmark's Norway, but the affiliation of Scania remained unchanged, and the present-day Swedish territory was completed.

1658年2月 26日のスウェーデンとデンマークとの和約。デンマーク王フレデリック3世はスウェーデン領ドイツを手に入れようと宣戦したが，スウェーデン王カルル 10世の，ユラン半島からシェラン島への氷上渡海作戦に敗れ，この和約を結んだ。この和約によってスウェーデン南部のスコーネ地方とボルンホルム島，ノルウェーのトロンヘイム，ブーヒュスレンがデンマークからスウェーデンに割譲され，その後トロンヘイムはデンマーク領ノルウェーに戻ったがスコーネの帰属関係はついに変らず，現在のスウェーデンの国土が完成した。
