Collection of Poems from the Imperial Court

A collection of poems from the Ming dynasty in China. It consists of 81 volumes in total: 2 volumes of Qianshu, 11 volumes of the first part of Jiashu, 22 volumes of Jiashu, 8 volumes of Yishu, 16 volumes of Bingshu, 16 volumes of Dingshu, and 6 volumes of Junshu. Compiled by Qian Qianyi of the Qing dynasty. Published in 1652. It includes works by approximately 2,000 Ming poets, with the Qianshu listing emperors and members of the royal family, ordinary poets arranged chronologically from Jiashu to Dingshu, and monks, women, and foreigners (including 8 Japanese) in the Intercalary Collection. The brief biographies of each poet are highly valued for the original views of the editors in their poetry critiques, and were later compiled into a book by Lu Can, a descendant of the poets. After his death, all of Qian Qianyi's edited and written works were banned on the grounds that he had served the Ming and Qing dynasties, and so this book is rarely circulated in China.

中国、明(みん)代の詩の総集。乾(けん)集2巻、甲集前編11巻、甲集22巻、乙集8巻、丙集16巻、丁集16巻、閏(じゅん)集6巻、計81巻。清(しん)の銭謙益(せんけんえき)の編。1652年刊。明の詩人約2000人の作品を選録し、乾集に皇帝、王族を載せ、甲集より丁集までに一般詩人を時代順に配列し、閏集に僧侶(そうりょ)・女流・外国人（日本人8人を含む）などを配する。詩人ごとに付された略伝は、編者の詩評に独創的見解がみられるところから重視され、のち族孫にあたる陸燦(りくさん)によって単行本にも編まれた。銭謙益の編著書は彼の死後、明清二朝に仕えたかどですべて発禁処分を受けたため、中国では本書の流伝もまれである。
