Japanese: 其小唄夢廓 - そのこうたゆめもよしわら

Kabuki Kyogen. Sewamono. 2 acts. Written by Fukumori Kyusuke. The second prologue and second act of Hiyoku no Choyoharuno Sogagiku, which premiered at the Edo Nakamuraza Theater in January 1816 (Bunka 13), are the ones that survived to posterity, and the title of the Kiyomoto joruri used in that area was passed down as the title of the Kyogen. Commonly known as Gonpachi. Composed by Kiyozawa Mankichi. Starring the first Enjudayu. Ichikawa Danjūrō 7th plays Shirai Gonpachi, and Onoe Kikugoro 3rd plays Miuraya Komurasaki. The original work was a Soga Kyogen with Gonpachi and Komurasaki. The play is divided into upper and lower halves. In the prologue, the "dream scene" in which Komurasaki rushes to Gonpachi's execution at Suzugamori and cuts his rope, is the upper volume of "Gonpachi," and is therefore commonly known as "Gonjo." The second act, the lower volume, is the "scene in Komurasaki's room" in which Komurasaki shaves Gonpachi's bangs to help him escape, and is commonly known as "Gonge."

歌舞伎狂言。世話物。2幕。福森久助作。1816年(文化13)正月江戸中村座初演の《比翼蝶春曾我菊（ひよくのちようはるのそがぎく）》の二番目序幕，二幕目が後世に残ったもので，その地に使われた清元の浄瑠璃名題が狂言の名題として伝わった。通称《権八（ごんぱち）》。清沢万吉作曲。初世延寿太夫出演。白井権八を7世市川団十郎，三浦屋小紫を3世尾上菊五郎。原作は曾我狂言に権八･小紫をからませたもの。上下に分かれ，序幕，鈴ヶ森で権八が処刑される間際に小紫がかけつけて縄を切る〈夢の場〉は《権八》の上の巻なので通称《権上（ごんじよう）》，二幕目，下の巻は小紫が権八の前髪を剃って逃がそうとする〈小紫部屋の場〉で，通称を《権下（ごんげ）》という。
