A collection of biographies of Chinese immortals. Two volumes. From the time of the legendary Shennong and Huangdi, it contains anecdotal biographies of 70 immortals from the period between Emperor Wu and Emperor Xuan of the Western Han Dynasty. It is said to have been written by Liu Xiang of the Western Han Dynasty. However, based on the content, the prevailing theory is that it was written by someone much later. Along with Ge Hong's Shenxian Zhuan of the Jin Dynasty during the Six Dynasties period, this is a valuable resource for learning about the legends of immortals in ancient China.
