Rubashka (Rubashika) (Russian)

A loose-fitting blouse-like national costume worn by Russians. It is a straight-cut vest with full sleeves, a thick belt or drawstring around the waist, and is worn with the hem hanging over the trousers. It usually has a stand-up collar. The opening at the front is often on the left side. The collar, placket, cuffs, etc. feature Russian-style strip-like embroidery. Linen, cotton, wool, etc. are used for the fabric.

ロシア人の着用するゆったりとしたブラウス風の民族衣装。フル・スリーブがついた直線裁ちの胴衣で、ウエストを太いベルトや腰紐(こしひも)で締めて、裾(すそ)をズボンの上に出して着る。普通、襟は立襟。途中まであく前あきは左側につくことが多い。襟、前立て、袖口(そでぐち)などにはロシア風の帯状の刺しゅうが入っている。布地には麻、木綿、ウールなどが用いられる。
