The capital of the state of Chu in the Spring and Autumn Period of China. It is located in the northern part of present-day Jiangling County, Hubei Province, and the ruins known as Kiinan City remain. The capital of Chu was later moved to Yuan, but this place was also called Yuan Ying. 中国，春秋時代の楚の都。現在のフーペイ (湖北) 省チヤンリン (江陵) 県の北部にあたり，紀南城と呼ばれる遺址がその名残りをとどめている。楚の都はのちえんに移ったが，この地もえん郢と呼ばれた。
