...A general term for nocturnal prosimians belonging to the family Lorisidae and subfamily Galaginae in the order Primates. Six species are known, including the Giant Galago (Galago crassicaudatus) and the Senegalensis (Galago senegalensis ) (illustration). They are widely distributed in the African continent south of the Sahara Desert.
