Born August 29, 1885. Served as a lawyer in political and ideological cases. Founded the Japan Liberal Human Rights Association in 1947 and became its chairman. Before the war, he was involved in the defense of the March 15 Incident, the People's Front Incident, and the Yokohama Incident, and after the war, he was involved in the defense of the Matsukawa Incident and the Sunagawa Incident. Died July 6, 1968, aged 82. Born in Shizuoka Prefecture. Graduated from Tokyo Imperial University. Written works include "The Journey of a Lawyer" and "Legal Consultation on Human Rights."
