Ranunculus - Ranunculus

Japanese:
Ranunculus - Ranunculus

Ranunculaceae (APG classification: Ranunculaceae) A general term for the genus Ranunculaceae. Annual or perennial herbs. Approximately 550 species are distributed in cold regions, temperate zones, and tropical mountainous areas of the Northern Hemisphere. 27 species, including Ranunculaceae and Ranunculaceae, grow wild in Japan. In the horticultural world, the species sold commercially under the name Ranunculus refers to a lineage of this genus that has been improved from R. asiaticus L., which is native to Europe and Southwest Asia. In the open field, it blooms from late April to early May and comes in a variety of colors, including red, pink, orange, yellow, and white. It usually has a single 5-petal flower, but many large flowers have dozens of petals. The flower stalk is 30 to 50 centimeters tall. It is used as cut flowers, in pots, and in flower beds. It does not like acidic soil and is susceptible to frost damage in winter, so be careful.
