Burning weeds and brush in grasslands and mountainous areas, then sowing and cultivating buckwheat, barnyard millet, wheat, foxtail millet, soybeans, etc. in the scorched area. Also refers to such fields. They are used continuously for several years, and when the soil fertility declines or the weeds become thriving, they are left alone and used again several years or a dozen years later.
