A mountain in southwestern New Hampshire, USA. It is 965m above sea level. It stands alone, isolated from the surrounding land, and has a great view, attracting many tourists. It is located on a plateau called the New England Uplands, and is a mountain that was left behind by erosion. The geomorphological term "monadnock" for a mountain that has been left behind by erosion because of its high resistance on a peneplain comes from the topography of this area.
