Face angle
〘noun〙① The angle between two planes. When two planes intersect, the angle between two straight lines on each plane that are perpendicular to the line of intersection. [English-Japanese and Japanese-English Earth Science Dictionary (1914)]② In crystallography, the angle between two crystal faces that sandwich an edge. ※Seikoku Risshihen (1870-71) (translated by Nakamura Masanao), 15 "It means to roughly cut out the face angle."③ The angle at which the jaw protrudes forward.
