Upper Swabia - Oberschwaben

... The Danube flows from west to east through the southern part of Swabia, a region steeped in history like this. South of the Danube, Upper Swabia and Bavarian Swabia are highlands at an altitude of 500 to 600 meters, alternating between plains and gentle hills. They are an area with a lot of grassland and pastures, and dairy farming is thriving. North of the Danube, Württemberg Swabia, where the Neckar River, a tributary of the Rhine, meanders north, has fertile land, where intensive agriculture is practiced, and various industries are carried out in large and small towns and villages.
