An old town in Sayo District, western Hyogo Prefecture. The main settlement, which runs along the Shibumi River, a tributary of the Chikusa River, and through which the Kishin Line passes, has long been a key location on the Inaba Highway, and since the Genroku period it has been called Jin'ya-cho.
