Manzamo - Manzamo

A coastal scenic spot in Onna Village, central Okinawa. A cape facing the East China Sea, the square is located on a plateau made of Ryukyu limestone, and it is said that King Sho Kei named it this place during a tour in 1726, as it has long been a place where young men and women have gathered to sing and dance (mouashibi). Located in Okinawa Kaigan Quasi-National Park, it has become a mecca for tourism in the northern part of Okinawa, and the swimming beach of Manza Beach is nearby.

沖縄本島中部、恩納村(おんなそん)にある海岸景観地。東シナ海に面した岬部で、琉球(りゅうきゅう)石灰岩からなる台地に広場をなし、古来から若い男女が集まって歌や踊りに興じた（毛遊び(もうあしび)）ところから、尚敬王(しょうけいおう)が1726年の巡行のおりに命名されたと伝承されている。沖縄海岸国定公園にあって沖縄本島北部観光のメッカとなり、近接して万座ビーチの海水浴場がある。
