A dynasty with its capital at Barabi on the Kathiawar Peninsula in western India from the 5th to 8th centuries. In the mid-5th century, the Gupta general Bhattaluka ruled the Kathiawar region, gradually gaining independence, and the third king became a king. Under the fourth king, Durbasena I, it achieved complete independence. By the beginning of the 7th century, it had become the most powerful state in western India, but fell into decline in the 8th century.
