A culture of the Early Bronze Age, with the Únětice site on the outskirts of Prague in Czechoslovakia as the reference site. It is also called Aunjetitz. A large number of bronze artefacts were found at this site, marking the beginning of the Bronze Age in Central Europe. The culture was mainly located in Bohemia and Moravia, and features intricately bent copper wire ornaments, heavy bronze collars (ingot torques), long, thin-bladed axes, and daggers and halberds with riveted handles.
