Polish Socialist Party (English spelling) Polskie Partia Socjalne

Japanese: ポーランド社会党 - ポーランドしゃかいとう(英語表記)Polskie Partia Socjalne
Polish Socialist Party (English spelling) Polskie Partia Socjalne
Abbreviated as PPS. A political party founded in 1892 by socialist activists in Russian Poland at a rally in Paris. The main goal was to restore Polish independence. In 1904, the party entered into armed struggle and waged terror against Russian authorities, but split at the 9th rally in Vienna. During World War I, the party rallied around the revolutionary JK Piłsudski line. In 1919, the Social Democratic Party in the former Austrian territory and the Socialist Party in the former Prussian territory merged and continued as a legal political party until World War II. After the party split under Piłsudski's government and the leadership's exile to London during World War II, the left wing participated in the establishment of the Polish Committee for National Liberation in 1944. In 1948, it merged with the Workers' Party to become the Polish United Workers' Party.
