Khwārazm Shāh

Japanese: ホラズム･シャー朝 - ホラズムシャーちょう（英語表記）Khwārazm Shāh

A dynasty centered on the Khwarezm region in the lower Amu Darya basin. 1077-1231. Also known as the Khwarizm Shahs. There were Iranian rulers called Khwarezm Shahs in this region even before the Arab invasion, and the local governments of the Samanid and Ghaznavid dynasties that followed were also called the Khwarezm Shahs. However, the Khwarezm Shahs in the strict sense began with the appointment of Anushtigin, a Turkic Mamluk of the Seljuk Empire, as the military governor (Shakhna) of Khwarezm in 1077.

アム･ダリヤ下流域のホラズム地方を中心とした王朝。1077‐1231年。フワーリズム･シャー朝とも呼ばれる。この地方では，アラブの侵入以前から，ホラズム･シャーと称するイラン系の支配者があり，その後のサーマーン朝，ガズナ朝系の地方政権も，ホラズム･シャー朝の名で呼ばれた。しかし，狭義のホラズム･シャー朝とは，セルジューク朝のトルコ人マムルーク，アヌーシュティギーンが1077年にホラズムの軍政府総督(シャフナ)に任命されたことに始まる。
