Metalware from the Imperial Roman period was excavated at the end of the 19th century from Boscoreale, located about 3km north of Pompeii on the southern foot of Mount Vesuvius. It is currently housed in the Louvre Museum, the Naples National Archaeological Museum, and other places. The treasures consist mainly of bronze and silver tableware, but since it was a private excavation, the exact number is unknown. The silverware includes a handled bowl with hammered depictions of "Augustus on the throne" and "The Triumph of Tiberius," as well as a silver plate depicting African or Egyptian allegories (or Cleopatra), and is a valuable resource for learning about art from the Augustan era.

ベスビオ山南山ろく，ポンペイの北約3kmにあるボスコレアーレBoscorealeから19世紀末に出土した帝政ローマ時代の金属器。現在，ルーブル美術館，ナポリ国立考古博物館などに収蔵されている。遺宝は主に青銅製，銀製の食器から成るが，私的発掘であったため正確な数は不明。銀器には〈玉座にあるアウグストゥス〉と〈ティベリウスの凱旋〉を打出しによって表した把手付碗や，アフリカもしくはエジプトの擬人像(もしくはクレオパトラ)を表す銀皿などがあり，アウグストゥス時代の美術を知る資料として貴重な位置を占めている。
