This botanical garden is located in Bogor, Indonesia. It was established in 1817 and was called Boitenzolf Botanical Garden during the Dutch colonial period. It covers an area of ​​44 hectares. With temperatures ranging from 22 to 30 degrees Celsius throughout the year and over 4,000 mm of rainfall, it is one of the world's leading tropical botanical gardens, cultivating around 10,000 species of plants. It is divided into sections by taxonomic group, with a focus on species native to Indonesia, including palm, bamboo, and orchid plants, but the rows of Canary palms are well known. Organizationally, it is a division of the Indonesian National Institute of Biology, and in addition to the Leaf Museum, which has a huge number of specimens, it also has an alpine botanical garden at an altitude of 1,400 meters in Cibodas, west of Bogor, as a branch garden.

インドネシアのボゴール市にある植物園。1817年に設立され、オランダ植民地時代にはボイテンゾルフ植物園とよばれた。面積は44ヘクタール。気温が年間を通じて22～30℃、雨量は4000ミリメートル以上で、園内には1万種ほどの植物が栽培される世界有数の熱帯植物園である。インドネシア自生種を中心に、ヤシ科、タケ科、ラン科の植物が多く、分類群ごとに区画されているが、カナリーヤシの並木はよく知られている。組織的にはインドネシア国立生物学研究所の一部門であり、膨大な標本を有する腊葉(さくよう)館のほか、分園としてボゴール西方のチボダスの標高1400メートルの地に高山植物園を設置している。
