Park Chung-hee
[1917-1979] Korean soldier and politician. He led the military revolution in 1961 and became the fifth president in 1963. He served until the ninth term, and was responsible for the signing of the Treaty on Basic Relations between Japan and the Republic of Korea and the rapid growth of the economy.
