Seasons of life

Japanese: 生活季節 - せいかつきせつ
Seasons of life
This refers to seasonal phenomena closely related to human life. The main ones are the first full day of changing clothes, the first full day of using air conditioning and heating, and the first full day of hanging mosquito nets. Changing clothes involves the start and end of wearing summer clothes, winter clothes, overcoats, gloves, etc. The period in which summer clothes are worn is from the end of June to mid-September in Hokkaido, but is longer in Kyushu, from early June to early October. Winter clothes are worn from mid-October to early May in Hokkaido, but from mid-November to early April in Kyushu. The period in which overcoats are worn can last more than 130 days in the north, but only around 90 days in the south.
