[Raw] Hampyeong 3 (1000) [Died] Kayu 7 (1062) A famous minister of the Northern Song Dynasty in China. Born in Hefei (Anhui Province). His pen name was Xiren. His posthumous name was Xiaosu. In the 5th year of the Tiansheng era (1027), he passed the Jinshi examination. After serving as a missionary in Jingdong, Shaanxi, and Hebei, he returned to the capital as a deputy missionary to the Sansihu Department, and served as a Tianzhangge Taisei, Zhizhanyuan, a direct scholar of Longtuge, and a governor of Kaifeng. During this time, he ruled well, and was affectionately known to the people as Bao Taisei. He was also famous for his filial piety, and it is said that when his parents died, he wandered around their graves and was unable to leave. Later, he served as a provisional censor and then as a Sansishi and a deputy privy envoy in the 6th year of the Jiayou era (61). His book is Bao Xiaosu Gongsoui (10 volumes).
