Verkhoyansk Mountain Range (English spelling)

Japanese: ベルホヤンスク[山脈]（英語表記）Verkhoyanskii khrebet

A large mountain range in the northern part of Eastern Siberia, Russia. It belongs to the Sakha Republic. It begins in the north at the southern part of the Lena River delta on the Arctic coast, then runs south, then southeast, and finally south, ending in the Aldan River basin. It is 1,200 km long, with the highest point being the 2,389 m peak of the Olurgan Range in the middle. It is a large mountain range made up of several parallel mountain ranges, including the Kharaulakh Range (a mid-mountain range with a highest point of 1,429 m) in the northernmost part, the Olurgan Range in the central part, and the Skalystui Range (2,102 m) in the southern part, as well as several other high and mid-mountain ranges.

ロシア連邦，東シベリア北部の大きな山脈。サハ共和国に属する。北は北極海岸のレナ川河口三角州南部にはじまり，はじめ南，ついで南東，さらに南に走って，アルダン川流域に終わる。長さ1200km，最高点は中ほどに位置するオルルガン山脈の2389m峰。いくつもの並行する山脈からなる大山系で，最北部はハラウラフ山脈(最高点1429mの中山性山脈)，中部のオルルガン山脈，南部のスカリーストゥイ山脈(2102m)ほか，いくつもの高山性，中山性山脈よりなっている。
