Japanese: 両巴巵言 - りょうはしげん

A humorous story. Written by Dora Utsu Sensei. Illustrated by Torii Kiyonobu. Published in 1728 (Kyoho 13). One volume. The author is thought to have been a Chinese scholar or the owner of a brothel. The title means "The words of a savorable tale about irozato (red light district)." First, a man named Taijin Sensei describes in Chinese the scenes he saw and heard playing in Yoshiwara, the entertainment, the customs, and the names of the main prostitutes. Next, there are drawings of Yoshiwara and pictures of the prostitutes. Finally, there is a "Yoshiwara Saiken" that details the brothels and the names of the prostitutes in Yoshiwara.

洒落本。撃鉦（どらうつ）先生作。鳥居清信画。1728年(享保13)刊。1冊。作者は漢学書生か遊女屋の主人などかと想像される。書名は色邑（いろざと）についての味わうべき巵（さかずき）の言の意。まず大人（たいじん）先生なる者が，吉原に遊んだ見聞の情景や遊興のさま，風俗，おもな遊女の名寄（なよせ）などを漢文体で叙述し，つぎに吉原の図，遊女の姿絵を出し，最後に吉原の遊女屋と遊女名とを詳細に記した〈吉原細見（さいけん）〉が置かれている。
