Mr. Chin - Chinshi

Japanese: チン氏 - チンし

During the late Le Dynasty (1529-1788) in Vietnam, this clan held real power by suppressing the Le Emperor and opposing the Nguyen clan of the Quang Nam Dynasty based in Hue. They are also written as Trinh Trinn clan. When the Le Dynasty was abolished by the Mac clan in the 16th century, the founder Trinh Kiem worked to restore it under Nguyen Kim, and when Kim died in 1545, he became Grand Tulip Master and took real power. In 1592, his son Trinh Tung recaptured Hanoi and became Emperor Le, but from 1599 he established his own royal palace and took control of the country.

ベトナムのレ(黎)朝後期(1529‐1788)に，レ帝を抑えて実権を握り，フエに拠るクアンナム(広南)朝グエン(阮)氏に対抗した一族。鄭Trinn氏とも書く。祖チン･キエム(鄭検)は16世紀，マク(莫)氏によってレ朝が中絶したおり，グエン･キム(阮淦)の幕下で再興に努力し，1545年キムの死とともに太師となって実権を握った。92年その子チン･トゥン(鄭松)がハノイを奪回しレ帝を迎えたが，99年以降自ら王府を開いて国政を掌握した。
