Hazelnuts
Hazel fruit. Usually refers to the fruit of the Western species (Corvus avellana). It is a spherical or egg-shaped nut about 2 cm in diameter, with a thin shell and the edible white kernel inside. It is mainly produced in Turkey, Italy, Spain, etc. It is used as a snack with Western liquor, as a dessert, and as an ingredient in sweets.
