Reedbuck - Reedback (English spelling)
A mammal of the bovidae family in the order Artiodactyla (illustration). A medium-sized, graceful antelope with long, slender limbs. It also has a thin neck. The horns, which only males have, are 20 to 25 cm long, small for a medium-sized antelope, and extend diagonally backward before stretching from the middle to the front. The body is light yellowish brown overall. The insides of the broad, rounded ears and the ventral surface are white. Body length is 120 to 160 cm, shoulder height is 65 to 105 cm, tail length is 18 to 30 cm, and weight is 50 to 95 kg. It is found in Africa from Gabon and Tanzania to South Africa.
