Weser [river] - Weser
One of Germany's major rivers. Its total length is 440 km from Münden, where the Fulda and Werra join to form the Weser, to the North Sea at Bremerhaven. It is connected to the Elbe and Ems by the Mittelland Canal. The tides affect Bremen, 70 km inland.
