This suspension bridge is located in New York City, New York, USA. It connects Manhattan, the economic center of New York, and Brooklyn. It was designed by John Roebling using the best of 19th century technology, and was completed in 1883 by his son, Washington Roebling. With a total length of 1,053m, it was the longest suspension bridge in the world at the time, and is called the "Steel Harp" because of the beauty of the wires that suspend the bridge.
