One of the five boroughs of New York City, USA. It occupies the southwestern end of Long Island, and is separated by the East River from Manhattan, the city's core, by three bridges and tunnels, including the Brooklyn Bridge. It is the city's largest residential area, and the center of commerce and shipping. Coney Island is located at the southern end.
