A god who appears in the Kojiki and Nihon Shoki. The ancestor of the Imbe clan. He prayed with Ame-no-Koyane-no-Mikoto to invite Amaterasu Omikami out of the cave of heaven. He is said to have followed Ame-no-Koyane-no-Mikoto as one of the five gods when the heavenly grandson descended to earth. He is also called Ame-no-Tatamikoto.
