Asexual reproduction refers to offspring that are produced in large numbers without relying on normal fertilization. They are also called branching systems or clones. This type of reproduction is called vegetative reproduction. A group of cells formed by repeated cell division of a single bacterial cell or a single fungal spore is called a branching system, and in animals it is often called asexual reproduction. Depending on the type of plant, vegetative systems can be created from various organs.
