Japanese: 札差事略 - ふださしじりゃく

This is Japan's first extensive history of a trade guild, compiled by Edo-based shopkeepers and stockbrokers. It was established in 1817 (Bunka 14). It covers the main events since the stockbrokers' association was founded in 1724 (Kyoho 9), and is compiled in chronological order and category, quoting relevant documents as they are. The editors were volunteer shopkeepers including Ogiya Sadatsugu. It consists of 35 volumes and 38 books, including the General Letter, Guard Station, Storehouse, Revision, Article Book, and Transport. In addition to the original text kept at the shopkeepers' association, six copies were made and kept for the possession of each shopkeeper's stockbroker group. Hitotsubashi University has the copy kept at the association, a first group copy, and an original copy, and some copies are also kept at the Sumitomo History Office and other places.

江戸の札差株仲間の編纂した日本最初の大部な同業組合史。1817年(文化14)成立。1724年(享保9)株仲間の起立以来の主要な事件を，関係文書をそのまま引用しつつ部類別･年代順に編集。編者は扇谷定継ら有志の札差。構成は惣首書，御番所，御蔵方，御改正，条目帳，運送方など全35巻38冊からなり，札差会所備付けの底本のほかに6部の写本が作られ，札差の株仲間各組の備品とした。一橋大学に会所備付本，一番組本と零本があるほか，住友修史室等にも一部保存されている。
