This is a collection of historical materials related to the Mongol invasions, compiled and published by Yamada Yasuei in 1891 under the supervision of Shigeno Yasutsugu. It includes two appendices: Seiho Sakugen (a brief description of overseas negotiations from the early period to the first year of Bun'o) and Takezaki Suenaga's Illustrated Account of the Mongol Invasions (the same as the Illustrated Account of the Mongol Invasions). The book focuses on the Mongol invasions and chronologically compiles historical materials related to the invasions, from the negotiations with Mongolia and Goryeo in 1260 (Bun'o 1), through the Oei invasions (1419), and up to the Kakitsu Treaty (Kii Tayyakujo) in 1443 (Kakitsu 3). It was a groundbreaking work in modern research on the Mongol invasions.

1891年重野安繹（しげのやすつぐ）の監修で，山田安栄が編纂･刊行した蒙古襲来関係史料集。《靖方溯源（せいほうさくげん）》(上世～文応1年の海外交渉を略述)，《竹崎季長蒙古襲来絵詞》(《蒙古襲来絵詞》と同一)の2冊を付録とする。モンゴル襲来を中心に，1260年(文応1)の蒙古，高麗2国との交渉から，応永の外寇(1419)を経て，1443年(嘉吉3)の嘉吉条約(癸亥約条)に至るまでの外寇関係史料を編年的にまとめたもので，近代の蒙古襲来研究に画期的な意義を持った。
