Japanese: ヒヨドリ(鵯) - ヒヨドリ（英語表記）bulbul

A general term for birds of the passerine order Pycnonotidae family, or one of these species. Birds of the Pycnonotidae family are 14 to 30 cm long, have long, slender beaks that curve slightly downward, and weak, short legs. They have relatively long tails. Their feathers are generally long and soft, and many species have feathers on the back of their heads that are hairy and form a crest. Their feathers are a blend of colors, with olive green, brown, or yellow above and pale below, and many species have conspicuous red, yellow, or white markings on the head and tail coverts.
