〘Noun〙 A type of Kabuki dance, in which the performer dances to the rhythm of the shamisen while singing and dancing to the beat. ※Reputation record: Yaro Tachiyaku Butai Daikagami (1687) Takeshima Kozaemon "He has a good sense of rhythm and is good at dancing to the beat ."
