Tokyo Metropolitan Library. Located in Hibiya Park, it was founded in 1908. It was destroyed in an air raid in 1945, but was rebuilt in 1957. With the opening of the Tokyo Metropolitan Central Library in 1973, 200,000 items, including materials related to the early modern Edo period, the Kaga Bunko, Morohashi Bunko, and Sanefuji Bunko, were transferred to the Central Library.
