〘Noun〙① An entranceway with sliding doors at the far right end of a Noh stage. Jiutai and koken (assistants) enter and exit from here. Kiridoguchi (a "kirido" entrance). *Haiku poem, Ise Masanaoshu (1662), volume 2, "The cowardly mouth of the nursery boy, Chika Mizuotoshi ( Iesato) " ② An entranceway at the far right side of a Kabuki stage. It is also called Geza (a "lower seat") . In Matsubametsumono plays, following the example of the Noh stage, a kiridoguchi (kirido) is set up on the upper side as an entrance and exit. *Kabuki, Ojiko Takiuchi (1753), volume 5, "Above the first box seat, there is a cloud shelf"
