One-man sumo - Hitorizumo
1. The act of one person performing the movements of two people wrestling together. Also, the art. It was performed as a religious ceremony or street performance.
2. To be too determined to do something that has no other partner. Also, to work desperately on something that has no fruit. "To take a vain effort"
