Father of Emperor Keitai (reigned 507-531) in the late 5th century. According to the "Nihon Shoki," he married Furuhime of Sakanai in Mikuni, Echizen (Fukui Prefecture), and had a child with Keitai, but he died when Keitai was still a child. The "Jogyuki," which the "Shaku Nihongi" cites, states that he was King Ushi, his father was King Ohi, and his mother was Kuruhime.
