Reaction Principle - Hannougenri

The basic theory of igneous rock formation proposed by NL Bowen in 1928. It is characterized by the following two reactions.
(1) Sequential reactions in a solid solution,
(2) Discontinuous response.
In other words, the minerals that initially crystallized from the magma react again with the remaining magma as the magma cools, gradually changing the composition of the minerals and the composition of the magma, and at a certain point the minerals that had crystallized previously react with the magma and begin to melt, and new minerals crystallize in their place. This is the idea that rocks of various compositions are formed by the reaction between minerals and magma in this way.

1928年，N.L. Bowenによって提唱された火成岩成因論の基礎．それは次の二つの反応によって特徴づけられる．
(1)一つの固溶体における連続的な反応，
(2)不連続的な反応．
すなわち，マグマから初期に晶出した鉱物が，マグマの冷却とともに残りのマグマとふたたび反応し，鉱物の組成もマグマの組成もしだいに変化し，またある時期になるとそれまで晶出していた鉱物がマグマと反応して溶けはじめ，そのかわりに新しいほかの鉱物が晶出する．このようにして鉱物とマグマの反応によって各種の組成の岩石がつくられるという考え方．
