Also called antonyms or opposite words. A pair of words that have the opposite meaning. Examples are "go-come," "long-short," and "bad-good," but also include words that are not necessarily opposites, such as "cry-laugh." Therefore, some words may have multiple antonyms, and some may not have any antonyms at all. Also, the negation of a word is not necessarily the antonym of that word. Also, when it comes to opposite meanings, various cases are included semantically.
